How to keep email subscribers on your list

Let me give you my 3 golden tips to retaining subscribers.

  1. Give your subscribers access to your free resources such as opt-ins and downloads in a resource library. Add to these resources regularly to give people an incentive to stay on your list and increase the value you provide.
  1. Segment your list. By tracking what each subscriber is interested in you can segment your list to deliver the most relevant and customized content to each of your subscribers.
  1. Apply the 80/20 rule. The quickest way to lose subscribers is by only sending out promotional emails selling them your product or services. It’s important to build a positive relationship with the people on your list that isn’t just based on them being a customer. So, 80% of your emails should provide valuable resources, tips, and personal stories and only 20% should be promotional content.

Your email list is one of your most valuable assets when running a business. Besides being consistent in your emails, use these tips to make sure your subscribers will stay on your list for a long time. 

By building a meaningful connection with them and giving them exactly what they’re interested in, they will become loyal customers and fans in no time!
